Learn to Play the Violin 
Age: 12 years and up
Schedule: Fridays, 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM (participants choose a one-hour slot)
Fee: 800 EGP per month (covering 4 sessions)
Workshop Objectives: 
Learning to play the violin
Curriculum:
First: Learning to play with the bow on open strings (the four strings: G, D, G, D)
Second: Playing the bow on the strings in rhythmic patterns, which are: round (4 movements), blanche (2 movements), nawar (1 movement), and crouch (half a movement). After that, we begin placing the fingers on the strings, placing our fingers on two strings with accidentals. Third: Teaching Eastern maqams, including Hijaz, Nahawand, Bayati, Rast, and Saba. 
Fourth: Teaching violin playing, reading musical notation, and singing songs, starting from simple songs to professional ones such as (Ahwak, Musiqa al-Adhan, Alf Layla wa Layla, Takhoonoh, and Maqtu').

Holds a Bachelor’s degree from the Higher Institute of Arabic Music at the Academy of Arts
Taught music at Al-Najm Al-Sati’ School
Performer with the Al-Balloon Theatre’s performance troupe
Taught music at Al-Hulm Center; instrument: violin
