Eltohami was born in Upper Egypt where he memorized the Holy Quran, joined Al-Azhar and graduated from the faculty of the Arabic language. He received free music studies in the Conservatoire, and he continued his high studies and received his Master in the Faculty of Education/psychology and sociology department, Asiut University. In his sixteenth, he mastered religious singing. He participated in many local, Arab, and international festivals. He received the best composition of Bordet Elboseri in the Boarda festival in Indonesia. His audience call him the Knight of the Religious Singing. He has over 28 albums in the market. He established the first syndicate for religious singing and Ebtehalat in the Arab World where he honored the figures of religious singing and Ebtehalat of the Arab World; He organized the first festival for religious singing in Egypt and the first festival for Religious Singing Youth; and he was elected to be its chief. Through the syndicate, he established a school for religious singing, ebtehalat, music Maqams, the art of Solfege, Tawasheeh and the art of recitation.
Eltohami is now seeking to support the talented religious singers in Egypt and the Arab World to revive the religious singing culture.
